TrAPP

Trauma Nurse Practitioner Education & CME

TrAPP (Trauma Advanced Practice Provider) is built for trauma nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other advanced practice providers who manage injured patients. It combines interactive, guideline-based trauma algorithms, AAST organ injury scales, and step-by-step case studies — all eligible for AAPA Category 1 Self-Assessment CME credit.

    AAPA Category 1 Self-Assessment CME

TrAPP is approved by the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) as a Category 1 Self-Assessment CME activity. Nurse practitioners and physician associates can earn credit by spending active, tracked time working through trauma algorithms, injury scales, and case studies.

    • Active study time is tracked automatically and pauses when you switch windows
    • Each activity has a defined credit cap, in half-hour increments
    • Complete a short post-activity evaluation to receive your certificate
    • Download certificates and receipts anytime from your account

Why trauma nurse practitioners use TrAPP

Trauma NPs and PAs are expected to make high-stakes decisions across the full arc of trauma care — from the resuscitation bay through discharge planning. TrAPP organizes the current trauma literature into practical, point-of-care tools so you can refresh a guideline in minutes and earn CME while you do it.

Content is developed by Acute Care Concepts and informed by contemporary trauma literature and national guidelines, with links directly to the publishers of the source articles.
